Men’s work is alive in Aotearoa! Join us brothers

What is men’s work?

Men’s work is about honestly facing and maturing beyond harmful traditional gender norms that we’ve grown up with.

E.g. “men don’t cry”, “a man is always in control”, “men are tough, not beautiful”, “men don’t ask for help”.

If we’re to live fulfilling and purposeful lives, we MUST face the wounds of our past and all the ways we as men keep each other small and hidden. Only then will we truly be able to connect in deep with our community, our family and the natural world.

What do we do together?

We gather to practice a new culture of honesty, depth, connection and expression through regular closed group men’s circles, deep-dive weekend retreats (The Man I Am), public community gatherings (HeartBeat) and Rites of Passage ceremony (GMMT).

Connection is the glue that holds this all together, so we genuinely get to know each other and make a point of having loads of fun together. Men’s work isn’t all just deep and emotional, it’s also silly, playful and full of creativity.

We are the village.

Brother, are you tending the fire?
Kin, do you feel the warmth?
Seeker, is there magic in your life?

There is a place for you at this hearth. There is a uniquely personal gift that your people need. There is growth only you can do.

And as an intergenerational group of men, we’re here to support you. To tend this one wild and precious life of yours. We’re not trying to sell you something, we’re inviting you into this unique work of men.

Will you join the brothers in the community in growing something beautiful? Come along to an event and join the movement!
